Solidarités International et BDDP Unlimited veulent faire couler de l’encre from BDDP Unlimited.

To mark World Water Day, on March 22nd Solidarités International and its agency BDDP Unlimited rolled out a campaign to build awareness of the scourge of undrinkable water (more here).

This beautiful merging of art and architecture is a 9 meter-high walk-double spiral of steel in the entrance of the KPMG ( a global accounting firm ) office building in Munich, Germany. The stair is called Umschreibung (Rewriting), and was completed in 2004. Designed by Olafur Eliasson. (via)

Себастьян Эррацуриц — «Мемориал концентрационного лагеря», 2006, Сантьяго, Чили. Девятиметровое дерево магнолии было посажено в цетре чилийского Национального стадиона, где в 1973 году диктатор Пиночет замучил и убил тысячи политзаключенных. После посадки дерева стадион открылся как парк, предлагая всем желающим пространство, чтобы прийти, постоять, вспомнить. Неделю спустя, закрывая проект, на поле с деревом в середине был проведен футбольный матч, который посетили 20 000 человек. (Rebel:Art, via)
